One day I talked with a colleague.
Me : We can do easy jobs fast in case boss feels we are always slow.
Colleague : No matter I'm slow or fast, the next designer is always slow so I'm slow on purpose.
I thought : You are incorrigible. I won't persuade you any more.
有天我和同事的對話
我 : 有些事情如果懂, 我們就做快一點,
      如果不懂, 慢一點沒關係, 那至少主管覺得我們有快有慢,
      不會給主管我們總是很慢的印象.
同事 : 我做快對方也是慢, 我做慢對方也是慢,
          所以我故意慢一點.
我心裡想 : 沒救了, 以後不管你了.

I didn't feel good last or last last month so I opened my 104.
I think I was too old and not good enough to attract any company.
One day I got an interview invitation from MediaTek.
Is that true? The job is about network.

OK! I felt I was really not good enough to the competitive compnay.
I should study harder in my next life.

It is a terrible company.
As soon as we started talking, I knew it's a very very hardworking company.
The interviewer repeated "Company First Customer First" all the time.
I almost thought I was in a direct selling company and
wanted to leave in three minutes.
The second interviewers was more human.
After all, I thought they didn't want me.

承景面試Himax Media Solutions Interview

It's subsidiary of Himax which is located at downtown Hsinchu.
Basically, having parking lot is my main consideration.
But this company provides none.
Their headquarters is at Tainan
so I think it's hard to cowork with other teams.
Two interviewers were friendly and well shared information with me.
I'm sorry because I have no feeling about this company.

Faraday Interview智原面試

HR made mistakes.
She found no manager when the interview started
so I directly interviewed with the Deputy Director.
He said though he didn't quite understand what I said,
he thought I was good.
He felt I was better than other applicants from other companies.
Then HR arranged an interview next day.
Next day, a Senior Technologist and a engineer-like person talked with me.
They were responsible for algorithm and just wrote C-Model.
They didn't implement RTL coding. I like the job.
I felt I performed well.
I just wait for notification but I think it's too late.

人資搞烏龍, 面試時竟然找不到主管,
只好由大主管副部長來擋一下,
他說雖然他聽不懂, 不過我講的好像不錯,
比前幾天來自某某公司的面試者講的好.
接下來人資跟我約隔天,
來了個資深技術經理跟像是工程師的人,
要做演算法, 寫C-Model就好,
都不用搞硬體, 這個我喜歡,
我覺得我表現不錯, 等消息吧!! 不過好像太遲了.

The interview was just chatting.
They tried my ability through chatting.
I like the working content but
I'm afraid to seek employment next year becuase
the company is too small.
The manager said if I'm interested in this job,
he'll arrange next interview to the boss.

One day when I took a nap, I got a call from Realtek again.
They got my information on the 104 website.
Once again, I drew video codec block diagram.
Didn't they have any other topic?
I couldn't help to ask them why, and thrice.
The answer is too complicated to say here.
Then they asked me some other questions and
the interview was over.

Realtek Interview Part 2瑞昱面試二部曲

They asked me to draw video codec block diagram again.
Of course I drew it roughly again.
Then we just chatting.
Because the interviewer in the first time thought
I could work better in this department,
they introduced me to this interviewer.
To my surprise, the interviewer is as old as me and
studied at the same senior high school with me.
He is a manager but I still fight for my working approtunity.
Sigh, I should study hard when I was young.

當然我又是隨便畫畫, 剩下就是聊天了.
原來是第一次面試的部門主管認為我比較適合這部門,
所以把我介紹給這部門主管,
而這部門主管竟然是我高中隔壁班同學,
人家都已經當主管了,
我還在為找一份微薄的工作奔波,
真是少小不努力, 老大徒傷悲.

MediaTek Interview聯發科面試

Accidentally, I saw MediaTek had job vacancies for G3D C-Model and ASIC Designer.
Oh my god. I was so excited.
I knew I had no chance if I apply for it by myself so I asked my ex-boss.
Fortunately, the boss in Mediatek is my ex-boss's friend.
I went to the interview confidetly.
I don't want to describe process because it's awful.
I got a "Thank you" letter.

噢噢噢!! 我叫了出來, 但是我知道自己投是一點希望都沒有,
所以我請了前主管幫忙,
幸運的是聯發科主管是前主管的朋友,
我滿懷信心的出發了,
過程就不詳述了, 不提也罷, 感謝信一封.

Realtek Interview瑞昱面試

Two interviewers came in meeting room in the beginning.
After reading my resume, they wanted me to introduce G3D first.
I knew the G3D topic wasn't their point and
they just tried my presentation so I made a short presentation.
Then they asked me to draw video codec block diagram.
I drew it roughly because I didn't remember the detail.
Finally, they tested me how to design different clock signal transition.
I told them I never wrote it but they still wanted me to try.
Luckily, I saw the code before Skyviia closed.
I wrote a design even it was not good.
The result of the interview is ~~~

I am very busy so that I forget recording the important day.
My company, Skyviia, is closed at October 31.
I learned lots during one year and four months.
